John Miller is a member of the Hurst City Council, serving as Mayor Pro Tem for Place 2. He was elected to the council on May 1, 2021. Miller grew up in Chandler, Oklahoma, and moved to North Texas about 25 years ago. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University and a Master's degree in Linguistics from Dallas International University.
