James Dell Talarico is an American politician and former educator known for his service in the Texas House of Representatives. A member of the Democratic Party, Talarico was first elected in 2018 to represent District 52, covering parts of Williamson County, including Round Rock, Taylor, Hutto, and Georgetown. After the 2020 redistricting, he successfully ran for District 50 in 2022. Talarico holds a Bachelor's degree in Government from the University of Texas and a Master's in Education Policy from Harvard University. Before entering politics, he worked as a public school teacher, bringing his educational experience to his legislative work. His commitment to education and public service has been a cornerstone of his political career.
