James Theodore Beverly is an influential American politician from Georgia, affiliated with the Democratic Party. Since January 2013, he has been representing the 143rd district in the Georgia House of Representatives. In January 2021, Beverly ascended to the role of Minority Leader. In addition to his political career, he has a robust academic background, holding a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University, a Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Guilford College, a Doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and a Master's in Business Administration from Wesleyan College. Beverly is also a successful entrepreneur, serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Goggles Eyecare 4 Kids and owner of MidTowne Vision.
