The Honorable Cámara de Diputados de la Nación Argentina, or the Chamber of Deputies, is the lower house of the Argentine National Congress - the legislative branch of the country. It is composed of representatives who are elected by the public from each province, whose terms last four years. The House is responsible for the initiation and the enactment of federal laws and holds the power to impeach certain officials of the state. Its regulations, responsibilities, and functions are defined by the Argentine national constitution.
