Gérard Collomb

Gérard Collomb is a prominent French politician who has had significant impact in Lyon and on a national level. Born in 1947, he served as the Mayor of Lyon from 2001 to 2017, a role in which he spearheaded significant urban regeneration and development projects. A member of the Socialist Party for many years, Collomb went on to become a founding member of La République En Marche! and served as Minister of the Interior under President Emmanuel Macron from 2017 to 2018.
