Gobierno de Argentina

The Gobierno de Argentina, or the Government of Argentina, is a democratic federal republic, divided into executive, legislative, and judicial branches, in accordance with the country's constitution. The President serves as the head of state and the head of government, while the legislative power is vested in the National Congress, which consists of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. The judiciary is independent of the executive and legislative branches. Argentina is further divided into twenty-three provinces and one autonomous city, Buenos Aires, which serves as the nation's capital and each of which have their own constitutions.
