The Gobernador de la Provincia de Buenos Aires is the highest executive authority in the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role involves controlling the provincial public administration, ensuring compliance with the provincial and national constitution, and executing legislation passed by the provincial legislative body, the Buenos Aires Provincial Legislature. The Governor also coordinates with national government officials and fellow provincial Governors to promote cohesive policy making. Moreover, the Governor pursues initiatives for social, economic, and infrastructural development of the Province.
