Elaine Phillips is an American politician currently serving as Nassau County Comptroller, a position she assumed in January 2022 after winning a decisive victory against Democrat Ryan Cronin with 61% of the vote. Before her role as Comptroller, Phillips had a notable political career, including serving as a member of the New York State Senate for the 7th district from 2016 to 2018. She was also the 18th Mayor of Flower Hill, New York. A member of the Republican Party, Phillips has been actively involved in public service and governance.
