Douglas Anthony Ducey, born in 1964, is an American businessman and Republican politician known for his significant contributions to Arizona's political and business landscapes. Ducey served as the 23rd Governor of Arizona from 2015 to 2023, following his tenure as Arizona State Treasurer from 2011 to 2015. Before his political career, he was the CEO of Cold Stone Creamery from 1995 to 2007, during which he expanded the ice cream parlor chain significantly. Ducey also gained valuable business experience at Procter & Gamble. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Arizona State University. As a member of the Republican Party, Ducey has been influential in shaping Arizona's fiscal policies and economic strategies.
