Antonio Decaro is a prominent Italian politician serving as the Mayor of Bari since 2014. Born on August 17, 1968, in Bari, Italy, Decaro has a background in journalism, which eventually led him to a career in politics. As a member of the Democratic Party, he has made significant efforts towards urban redevelopment, social cohesion, and sustainability, spearheading numerous initiatives to improve the city infrastructure and promote a greener urban environment. Recognized for his exceptional leadership, he was elected as President of the Italian Association of Municipalities (ANCI) in 2019.
