Dan Sullivan is a distinguished American politician, attorney, and military officer currently serving as the junior United States Senator from Alaska, a position he has held since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, Sullivan has a robust background in public service and law. He served as the Alaska Attorney General from 2009 to 2010 and as the Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources from 2010 to 2013. Prior to these roles, he was the Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs from 2006 to 2009. Sullivan is also a Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Academically, he holds a Bachelor's in Economics from Harvard University and a Master's in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
