Courtney Hobgood is an elected official serving on the Edmond School Board in Oklahoma for District 2, having won her seat in the April 2022 elections. A registered Republican, she is a dedicated advocate for education, focusing on lowering student-teacher ratios and enhancing social-emotional learning within the district.Courtney is a mother of three elementary-aged boys and brings a “mother’s perspective” to her role, emphasizing the importance of parental involvement in education. She actively volunteers at her children's schools and participates in community initiatives, including the Edmond Public Schools Foundation. Currently serving as Vice President of the Board, Courtney is committed to being a voice for all students, parents, and educators in the Edmond community.
