Cory Penn is a political figure serving as the Councilman for District 1 on the Mobile City Council. Elected in 2021, he is deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for local youth. Penn graduated from John L. LeFlore High School and pursued studies at Stillman College. He worked as an educator, teaching special needs students at Chastang Middle School, where he co-founded the Chastang Elite Service Club. Currently, Penn serves as a Student Success Coach at Bishop State Community College and is an ordained minister at Right Way Christian Center Church. He is recognized for his community service and leadership roles, including being part of the Leadership Mobile Class of 2021 and the 40 under 40 Mobile Bay Class of 2023.
