Christopher Heagarty is a seasoned public servant and legal professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in government and civic engagement. He earned a Bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University and a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University. Heagarty's career is marked by leadership roles including Executive Director and Commission Counsel at the North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission, and Director of State Government Relations at the North Carolina Association of Electric Cooperatives. He also served as Executive Director at the North Carolina Center for Voter Education and was a Board Member for District 7 on the Wake County School Board. His legislative experience includes serving as a State Representative in the North Carolina House of Representatives.
