Brett Myers is the elected Sheriff of Whitman County, Washington, a position he has held since January 2003. Affiliated with the Republican party, Myers recently won re-election in 2024 with 82.3 percent of the vote, securing his fourth term as sheriff. He has worked in many different capacities within the Sheriff’s Office, also holding the rank of Sergeant, Deputy Sheriff and Reserve Deputy Sheriff for over 25 years. Myers is a graduate of Washington State University and holds a Master of Public Administration from Andrew Jackson University. His goals include expanding and modernizing the Whitman County Jail and lowering property crimes. Myers resides in Pullman with his wife and is an avid outdoorsman
