Balint, born in 1968, is an American politician currently serving as a member of the United States House of Representatives for Vermont's at-large congressional district, representing the Democratic Party. She previously served in the Vermont Senate from Windham County from 2015 to 2023, holding positions such as majority leader from 2017 to 2021 and president pro tempore from 2021 to 2023.
