The Monroe Township School District (MTSD) has suffered greatly since the appointment of superintendent Chari Chanley while under the leadership of her close friend and board president Chrissy Skurbe. Chanley and the board of education have allowed bullying to increase in our schools, defied the commissioner of education, triggered multiple lawsuits, targeted staff and community members unwilling to advance their personal agendas, and created great distrust and distress for the entire community of Monroe.

Ms. Chanley continues to display a lack of professionalism and empathy. Her bullying behavior and intimidating actions endanger the staff, students, and taxpayers of Monroe Township.

In short, Ms. Chanley and her allies on the board of education have greatly harmed our school district and damaged the reputation of our wonderful community:

We are calling for the immediate resignation or termination of Chari Chanley and a state investigation into her misconduct as the superintendent of Monroe Township.
