It is my hope to bring awareness to the fact that school administrators cannot continue to feel so embolden to fabricate stories to perpetuate a false narrative. I want to protect the many children and families of the public school system of America.

At Woodbury Elementary school in Irvine, Ca which is part of the Irvine unified school district, school administrators fabricated stories to support their narrative, only supported by unproven anecdotal evidence. Whereas I have call logs and location history to prove their anecdotal evidence are fabricated. The school principal, Mr. Alan Battenfield and his Office Administrator Veronica Escalante need to be held accountable for their egregious and intentional acts of deceit.

School administrators abused their position of power to perpetuate a false narrative one in which they claim they communicated a set of guidelines to me regarding an intradistrict transfer request. Our family bought a new house in a new neighborhood with a new assigned school and requested guidance from Veronica on how a school transfer request should be handled. Rather than acknowledge that she failed to communicate the guidelines, she made up a story that I showed up at the school office with required documents and that she verbally explained the process to me. Even though my location history shows that I was never at school during the time she states this encounter happened.

Later when meeting with the principal in person in his office to get clarity on the set of facts, the principal threatened my family that if he had the power to decide on our school transfer he would keep my children in his school for the duration of the school year into Spring 2023. And that I should just be grateful that the the district was willing to compromise with us and allow our kids to transfer in October 2022. I had asked to see the anecdotal notes that he referenced he had and he told me he couldn't show it to me because it was privileged, only later to find out in the complaint investigation they conveniently don't have the notes anymore.

After my meeting with the principal, I immediately filed a compliant at the district level against Mr. Battenfield and Veronica Escalante and disenrolled my children from Woodbury. An investigation was initiated by the Executive Director of IUSD and through his investigation it was acknowledged that there were a polarizing set of facts and that the school administration should have done MANY things differently, there was no punishment handed down to the school administrators. The lack of any punishment by the district will only continue to embolden school administrators to perpetuate a false narrative to protect themselves..

The public deserves to know the truth of the fraudulent actions of school administrators at Woodbury Elementary. The many families with children at Woodbury need to protect themselves from the corruption within school administration at Woodbury Elementary.
