Get Walmart to pay associates the legacy personal and sick time they have accumulated.

The Issue

So many long term Walmart associates have accumulated legacy personal and sick time that we are not able to freely use due to policy changes. Yes, there are ways to use it, however, you first must  use any remaining PTO/PPTO, and then there are numerous other stipulations. I don't think it's fair that these hours we have worked so hard for, are basically worthless.  As associates, we did our part by showing up, working and earning the time, while making millions of dollars for the company,  now Walmart needs to step up and do what they had affirmed in the policy. It's not ethical to change the policy to financially benefit the company and not have any concern as to how it will impact the associates.

I am proposing for either a complete payout, or at minimum the ability to use the legacy time easily, without any stipulations.  As a long term associate, I have over 200 combined hours that I personally have earned,  that's nearly $4000!! I know so many others are in the same situation and in today's   Covid-19 World situation, we all could really use the time to be away from work caring for ourselves and families, or have the money we are owed to help provide for our families during this unprecedented time. PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE!! MAKE SURE YOU ARE HEARD!!
