I've created this petition to request that Apple allow developers of 3rd party access to use Siri voices in their apps.

Currently, Apple does not allow 3rd party access to Siri voices over valid security concerns anticipating that 3rd party apps may malevolently use Siri voices to get valuable private information from users.

We all know that Apple is more than capable of addressing this privacy concern.

Apple has already demonstrated that they have the ability to manage permissions of 3rd party apps in the Mac and iOS operating systems, we need not look any further than the webcam, the microphone, and location tracking as proof they can do this.

When Apple wants to do something, they figure out a way to make it happen, so let's encourage Apple to create more accessibility by opening up Siri to 3rd party apps in a way that makes sense and protects people's privacy.

The people who stand to benefit the most from this request are those who have accessibility needs in regards to vision, neurological, attention and learning support needs.

We live in a world today with so much screen-time, all of us would benefit from the high-quality voices of Siri reading to us aloud and giving our eyes some much-needed rest.

If anyone can do this it's the brilliant minds at Apple so raise up your voices and cheer the Apple team on for the benefit of accessibility!
