We, the undersigned, are calling on livestream platforms such as Twitch and Kick to take immediate and consistent action when concerns arise regarding the safety and wellbeing of children featured in livestream content.

Recently, many viewers across social media have expressed serious concern about the treatment and wellbeing of a child, commonly referred to as “Chrisean Jr,” who has been repeatedly featured in livestreams. These concerns include the child’s visible condition, developmental needs, and whether appropriate care and attention are being consistently provided.

While viewers are not investigators, the volume and consistency of concern from the public cannot be ignored.

Children—especially those with potential medical or developmental challenges—deserve privacy, protection, and proper care. They should never be placed in environments where their wellbeing may be compromised for content, engagement, or financial gain.

We are urging Twitch, Kick, and other livestream platforms to:

Conduct a thorough review of content involving minors where credible concerns have been raised

Enforce stricter policies regarding the presence of children in livestreams

Partner with child welfare organizations to develop clearer safety guidelines

Suspend or restrict accounts when a child’s wellbeing may be at risk pending investigation

Prioritize child safety over creator monetization
