Developed as a retro 2000s MySpace clone in 2020 by at the time 18 year old German web developer Anton Röhm, the site has received great reception for it's easy-to-use navigation, and it's privacy-first approach, having no algorithms or trackers.

But the site has a massive problem.

Poor/lack of moderation has led to the website becoming lawless. Gore accounts running free, mentally ill individuals using the site to constantly break rules. And it's not like the moderators don't exist because they do, but instead of them moderating the platform, the moderators ban the decent, honest men, women, AND children trying to bring these issues to the light.

SpaceHey is a land of disgusting nutcases and corrupt moderators protecting them.
