Release the extended cut of Project Hail Mary

Release the extended cut of Project Hail Mary
The Issue
We as fans of Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary are very enthusiastic about how the film turned out! Ryan Gosling, Phil Lord and Chris Miller's attention to detail and care for the source material is very apparent through out the movie, and we're very grateful to everyone that worked on the production to bring it about!
That being said, as fans we recently learned that the original test cut of the film was 3 hours and 45 minutes long. While the cut shown in theaters was able to cover the main plot points of the story, we feel that details of the story that can add to the viewers enjoyment could have been cut. Many of us left the theaters thinking about parts from the book that didn't make it to the film, and much discussion was made on how a series length of runtime could have filled in some gaps for those who loved the book and those experiencing the premier for the first time.
We hope for either a release of the film in its full extended cut, or for the ability for us fans to see some of the scenes that were cut in special features on an upcoming digital, physical, or streaming release. Understandably, the footage may not have gone through post production, but we hope that our support is apparent and that we can help the full story of Project Hail Mary come forward for all audiences to enjoy
