NO STADIUM

TASMANIA can't afford a $2 billion dollar Stadium

Wrong Priority, Wrong Location, Wrong Time

I have been fighting this Stadium from the day the contract was signed.  A contract that Jeremy Rockliff had NO MANDATE to sign!

 

 

 

 

With over 32,000 signatures on a NO STADIUM petition and many people determined to be rid of the Rockliff goverment and his fantasty folly of a Stadium, many people in good faith voted Labor.  Only for new Labor leader Dean Winter to do a backflif, stabbing every Tasmanian in the back that voted for Labor with the assumtion they were voting that the Stadium was dead!

But, here we are again, with Rockliff digging in his heals despite 70% of Tasmania telling him where to put his Stadium.  

Rockliff won't call a referendum, because he knows what the answer will be!

And now? Rockliff is trying to bypass the PoSS process and introduce legistlation to quick track Tasmanian into further debt.

So, let's get this petition moving!  

The petition is now open again, we already had over 32,000 signatures, can we get more ? Let's get more and show Rockliff, Winter and the AFL to stick their $2 billion dollar stadium.

Tasmania is broke, we have more important issues to deal with than building a Stadium at Mac Point, which is the wrong location because a Stadium won't fit!

So far the Rockliff government has received THREE expert opinions regarding the Stadium.  

All say the same thing, we can't afford it, we don't need it, it won't fit Mac Point - waste of money!
