LET THE PEOPLE SPEAK

Art is about freedom of expression and thought and should not be politicised. Ye, an artist who has touched millions with his music and innovation, deserves the chance to share his art on one of the grandest stages in London, the Wireless Festival. He has publicly apologised for past controversies and is actively addressing his mental health issues. By denying him entry, we're not just silencing an artist but also sending a damaging message about exclusion.

How can our government, which is supposed to champion freedom and creativity, deem Ye's presence not conducive to the public good while maintaining ties with individuals of questionable morality, including known pedophiles and Epstein sympathisers? This hypocrisy undermines the very freedoms that art and music stand for.

The Wireless Festival, known for celebrating diversity and expression, will be incomplete without Ye's unique presence. Previous acts have also been granted performances despite controversies, proving that the festival is a space for healing and understanding.

We urge the Home Office to reconsider their current stance and allow Ye to perform at the Wireless Festival this Summer. Denying entry to an artist based on political motives restricts more than just one individual's freedom; it curtails an entire community's right to experience art without boundaries.
