Call for FAIR auto insurance for Nova Scotians!

Call for FAIR auto insurance for Nova Scotians!
The Issue
Insurance companies are reporting record profits, but they still want more. NS insurers have lobbied the Government to reduce your insurance coverage to increase their profits.
Nova Scotia auto insurer gross profits have increased 150% since 2019. Learn more at www.fairns.ca.
Despite this dramatic increase in profits, insurers are lobbying the government to cut your insurance benefits. They say this is needed to reduce insurance premiums but they are making record profits.
Don’t let the Government allow the insurance companies to exploit Nova Scotia consumers like you. Be a check and balance against the insurance lobby.
Each year, your groceries cost more, your rent costs more, your car insurance costs more – why should your injury be worth less?
Here’s what you can do to try to stop the Government from watering down your benefits to increase auto insurance company profits:
You can make a difference. Let's take action!

Tell them these proposed changes are not necessary, that the insurance companies are profitable, and there is no reason to reduce benefits. Visit https://fairns.ca/what-you-can-do/ for contact information for Government officials. -
Know the facts
Be informed about the proposed changes to auto insurance and what they really mean to the insurance industry (more $$$), Nova Scotian drivers (less benefits) and accident victims (less help).A few quick stats:
- Nova Scotia auto insurer gross profits have increased 150% since 2019.
- Working from home will permanently decrease accidents and increase insurance profits. Before 2020, 4% of Canadians worked from home. Two Statistics Canada studies estimate this has likely permanently increased to 25%. This means a lot less cars on the road, and fewer accidents. Therefore lower expenses for insurers, and higher profits.
