As growing up in a military household, I know the toll the pressures and stresses of military life can take on one's morale. It is this experience that compels me to initiate this petition. Recent studies show that employees who are happy or have high morale are 12% more productive (Source: University of Warwick). So, why not apply the same logic to our servicemen and women? One unconventional but effective solution is rubber ducks.

Yes, you heard it right. Rubber ducks. These inconspicuous bath companions could play a pivotal role in uplifting the spirits of our brave soldiers. The absurdity itself can bring about unexpected laughter and promote a unique form of camaraderie. Thereby, indirectly improving our troops' mental resilience and overall military performance.

The small rubber duck does not interfere with the function of the Humvees or the mission. Being small, lightweight, and harmless, they can be accommodated easily without posing any risk to the occupants of the vehicle.

The aim of this petition is to implement a new regulation requiring all US Marine Corps Humvees to carry a rubber duck. By taking such a minor yet consequential step, we can ensure a lighter and more human environment within the toughness of military exercises and operations.
