The VBDA needs to be disestablished and dissolved.  They have allowed industrialization of our raw lands in order to pad their own pockets while residents are shoveling out increasing taxes to pay for flood prevention.

And now they have set their sight on the Agricultural District below the Green Line - soliciting industrial companies from around the world falsely advertising industrial land when there is no industrially-zone land available.

On September 16, 2025, City Council unlawfully approved a 'carve-out' from the Comprehensive Plan to allow Acoustical Sheetmetal Company to purge raw land in the Agricultural District.  This company supplies all things massive data centers need, they are directly adjacent the Dominion Line and there are 1,000 additional acres of city-owned preservation land now open to the VBDA's destruction.

We must demand that City Council strip the VBDA of all authority or 1,000 acres will be filled with data centers in what was supposed to be public open space.

The sole councilmember voting against this illegal carve-out was Barbara Henley.  Those voting in favor need to be removed - Mayor Bobby Dyer, Rosemary Wilson, Michael Berlucchi, Stacy Cummings, David Hutcheson, Cash Jackson-Green, Worth Remick, Amelia Ross-Hammond, Jennifer Rouse, and Joash Schulman - ALL NEED TO BE VOTED OUT!!!
