Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has clearly shown unremitting favoritism towards corporations instead of listening and catering to the needs and desires of the American people. He has been unresponsive in leading an opposition party against the Trump administration, which conflicts with democratic principles. Additionally, his actions do not reflect the expected role of a minority leader, which is to steer and guide their party in the legislative process. The American people deserve leaders who will prioritize their interests over corporations. By doing so, we ensure that our democracy remains of the people, by the people, and for the people. It is high time that representatives who do not uphold these principles are held accountable. Thus, we demand that Chuck Schumer step down as minority leader and/or resign from his position.
