When you sign up for Clubhouse, anyone who has your phone number can see your profile, including:

• Your full name
• Your profile picture
• Who you follow
• Who follows you
• What groups you follow on Clubhouse
• Who "nominated" (invited) you to Clubhouse
• Your social media links if you've added them

There is currently NO way to change this. This means that your boss, your therapist, your ex, maybe an old drug dealer, etc. can all see this information about you without your consent -- simply because they have your phone number in their contacts.

Clubhouse is an amazing app, but this is a serious, serious and potentially fatal flaw.

There are many articles and people talking about this, so please share this petition to get this in front of the Clubhouse developers and let them know how important this option for privacy is to people who want to otherwise continue to use the Clubhouse app because of it's special social qualities and community-building.
