Delhi NCR is experiencing extremely poor air quality with AQI levels repeatedly falling into the very poor and hazardous categories. Students at Bennett University are reporting breathing issues, headaches, eye irritation, fatigue, and discomfort during daily activities.

For day scholars, the situation is even worse. Many travel 20 to 60 kilometers every day through some of the most polluted regions in NCR. Commutes have become unsafe and unhealthy, and parents are also concerned about prolonged outdoor exposure.

Several NCR universities such as JGU have already shifted their end semester exams to an online format as a temporary precaution to protect student health.

We respectfully request Bennett University to consider the same for this term only. This is not a protest or a demand. It is a collective health focused appeal from students who are genuinely struggling due to the hazardous AQI levels.

End semester exams require students to walk across campus for back to back exams, spend long hours indoors with limited ventilation, and travel daily in toxic air. Shifting exams online for this cycle would significantly reduce exposure and risk.

We hope the administration recognizes the seriousness of the situation and takes a precautionary step to ensure student well being. This petition represents students who simply want a safe and fair academic environment during an AQI emergency.
