AAM has the potential to save lives, fight fires, expedite emergency medicine, bridge social divides, preserve the environment, promote human rights, grow local economies, and inspire students to excel in STEM to become the workforce of the future. If we don't get the word out, we'll be stuck with outdated methods. To make sure AAM comes to fruition, we need public trust and that starts with public awareness.

Now is the time for full engagement among government, academia, industry, and communities. It's a lot to ask people to accept, let alone trust, new technologies if we haven't even taken the time to integrate technical jargon like 'vertiport' into our dictionaries for a common language.
