I feel the judicial system is structured for the incarceration of people who are ignorant of the laws or doesn't have the sufficient amount of money to pay to receive true justice. If they offered her a plea for manslaughter at 20 do 10. Why on earth would you give her life plus 5 because she went to trial? Having a trial doesn't add to the crimes she's charged with! In actuality having a trial is an amendment. Why are so many people harshly penalized for exercising their rights as a American citizen?

Je t’écris cette lettre parce que ton histoire m’a profondément touché. J’ai vu la série Making a Murderer, et je dois te dire que je suis vraiment triste pour ce que tu as vécu. J’ai été bouleversé en voyant comment des adultes ont profité de ta vulnérabilité, comment tu as été manipulé, alors que tu étais encore un adolescent avec des difficultés, et que tu faisais juste confiance.<br>

Moi aussi, à ton âge, j’aurais pu dire n’importe quoi sous la pression, juste pour que les adultes arrêtent de m’interroger. C’est injuste ce qu’ils t’ont fait vivre, et je ne comprends pas comment des gens peuvent dormir en sachant qu’ils ont mis un jeune garçon innocent derrière les barreaux pour toute sa vie.<br>

Mais malgré tout ce qu’on t’a pris, je crois sincèrement que tu es une belle personne, une âme forte, et que rien ne pourra te voler ça. Je veux que tu saches que tu n’es pas seul. Beaucoup de gens pensent à toi, croient en toi, et se battent pour que justice te soit enfin rendue.<br>

Moi, je suis une personne croyante, et je veux te dire que même si cette vie est dure, il y a une autre vie après, où il n’y a plus d’injustice, plus de souffrance, où les cœurs purs sont enfin en paix. Je prie pour que tu retrouves un jour la liberté ici, mais quoi qu’il arrive, ta vie a un sens, tu touches des gens, tu fais réfléchir le monde.<br>

Ne perds pas espoir. Tu mérites mieux. Et tu n’es pas oublié.<br>

While I may have only known him online, I know he's a good man with a kind heart and surely does not deserve to be thrown back in there with the actual criminals. He did his time, they let him go. What kind of cruel joke is it to just rip his freedom away when he's done nothing wrong. Justice for Dustin, our one and only from space. -Muggle♡

Her only chance if she encounters a police officer is either that she is still very young, the officer doesn’t attack because she is a girl, or the officer is properly trained and never jumps straight to action. <br>

I can’t even put myself in my friends shoes. Both his son and daughter are autistic and like my daughter it’s bad. They are both non compliant. So he has a boy that is dark skinned and at some point that boy is going to be tall and teenage. I’m worried about cops attacking my daughter especially after seeing that cop who body slammed that 100LB teen into concrete with no provocation. It’s worse for men and it’s worse for dark skinned people.

Yet he's paying the excessive price. They wanted to send him to state mental hospital, very bad place to restore him to prosecute. I threw a fit telling them he's not insane, he's autistic! The court sentenced him with 2 felonies. For someone with the mental capacity of approximately 16 socially and elementary in comprehension, reading and writing. I felt it was excessive for someone with autism. I truly believe autistic people are really smarter and highly intelligent and lifted. However, it's trapped inside them, making communication very difficult for them. The judge should have shown some compassion but didn't. He's still on probation and none of the probation officers know anything about special needs or autism. It was shameful and disgusting to witness as his mother. I will never give up on him. He's finally getting help in developmental disability program but Medicaid makes the process extremely difficult to get him the help with living skills he desperately needs. This young man is going far if we can just keep these druggies and freeloaders from taking advantage of and manipulating him. He was almost off welfare when he met this bad person who got him into soo much trouble. It breaks my heart he's doesn't understand when someone is using him or manipulating and taking advantage of him.<br>

I have personally had things happen. It's disheartening. I've never been in trouble and I'm 49 years old. These are things that are hard to get over, and create distrust for our first responders.
