Recent trends show a growing concern over voter suppression tactics and the need for comprehensive voting reform. Petitions in this topic highlight issues such as discriminatory voter ID laws, gerrymandering, and access to polling places.
One petition with tens of thousands of signatures calls for the restoration of voting rights for individuals with past felony convictions, emphasizing the importance of second chances and civil engagement. As an election worker, my sole job this past November was to redirect voters to their correct precinct. It is a waste of the voter's time, and a waste of time and money for Denton County. Election Day should be like early voting in Denton County--you should be able to vote at any valid location. Thank you.
Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.
I used vapes to quit smoking, and now I’m being told, as a fully grown adult man, that I cannot use my vice anymore.
I can go buy weed in concentrated form. I can buy flavored THC products. I can buy flavored Alcohol. But I cannot buy flavored vape juice, even at 0%.
I guess this means I’m back to cigarettes. Been free from smoke for almost a decade and in the end, the govenment is forcing me to go back to it.
If you really “cared” about “flavors” and “youth” you wouldn’t see any restricted products with flavors. Rich coming from a governor who loves his WINE PARTIES.
Vote out these fossils already, rich grifters bought by corporations.
