“New World isn’t just a game—it’s a world that’s brought people together. I’ve spent over 4,000 hours exploring Aeternum, making friends who’ve become like family. This game has built communities that thrive on teamwork, creativity, and shared experiences. There’s truly nothing else like it—the combat system is unmatched, the visuals are stunning, and there’s something for everyone, whether it’s PvP battles, boss fights, crafting, or gathering.
Right now, players’ hearts are broken. We’re not just losing a game; we’re losing the world where our friendships were built and memories were made. Please reconsider sunsetting New World—this community and everything it stands for deserves to live on.”
New World has always been the one game that ticked every box in a game for me. The environment, the gameplay, the movement, the esthetics, the music, everything is so damn wonderful.
New world launched when I was going through a deep and intense personal period of loss and both the game and the friends I made throughout the New World community helped distract and eventually pick myself back up through the relationships this game fostered.
Please save New World 💗
Being a console player, we don't have much variety when it comes to the MMO genre. When New World was announced for console, I couldn't explain my excitement to finally play the game with my friends that have played on PC since day one. New World has brought so much joy, companionship, and connected the world of people of different backgrounds together. This game has always been my game to grind over everything else, what I and others look forward to when we come home and just want to kick back, and play with our friends. I'd hate to see this game go away, because of AI taking jobs. I hope Amazon changes their mind as a whole, to keep AGS going for years and years to come.
Rec room has been one of pillars for me breaking out of my anti-social shell especially with Rec Room Karaoke they have helped me greatly and I've joined their staff team please rec room is more than a game its some peoples way of being social and expressing themselves and that goes away then who know how many people will fall back into those anti-social shells.
