This light company needs investigation asap. October 24th my lights were disconnected. You have to pay the entire Bill to get your lights turn back on. Which I did. That was less than a month ago. Today I received a bill in the mail for $1,300. When I called to find out why I was told because I did not make a September or October payment. Yet in October my lights were disconnected for non-payment and reconnected for payment. It has been like this for a long time and I plan on doing my research and making sure this story is heard because the citizens of Lumberton North Carolina are being done very wrong by city of lumberton. And we have no other choice but to use them if we want power
Potomac Edison/First Energy Co this is price gouging at its finest! These new meters you installed and all our bills skyrocketed seems so sketchy. Your customers are bleeding $ trying to heat our homes to 65 degrees in the winter. Our kids are sick from freezing at night while we try to keep the electricity on and pay our bills. We cannot survive financially. Do SOMETHING! NOW!
Many individuals and families cannot continue to afford basic heating and air due to the incessant increases. We are seniors one of who is disabled and needs heat and air. With these continuous increases we cannot use the service many days due to the costs
As a retiree, I can no longer afford to pay my electric bill and eat. So I am living in a cold (or hot) home and eating very little. I'm fairly certain that Newsom and his rich cronies are trying to force the middle class OUT of California and turn it into an elitist state that can have to themselves. All of the illegal immigrants will be their "slave" class. 4th generation native, here. I'll live in a tent and pay NOTHING before I will leave.
PG&E was responsible for the Tubbs fire that burned my house down. I got a minimal payout from PG&E and then my rates have been raised multiple times. I bought a solar system to reduce my dependence on them and the compensation they pay for excess power has been reduced. They have a monopoly and it's obvious the PUC is in their pocket. This is beyond pathetic. There needs to be competition in power suppliers.
I have tried very hard to reduce my household's impacts on climate change with new windows, insulation, rooftop solar photovoltaic panels that also charge our EV. PG&E is famous for lip service to all this but then boosts our electric rates and fees to profit their stockholders. PG&E should be a non-profit public utility.
