I hope Wendy sees this! Wendy in 2008, I went through a difficult time in my life. But everyday at 10 I could see your beautiful face. You saved me from the darkness, if it was only one hour. You deserve your voice, your money, and your freedom. 🩷Wendy #FreeWendy
I think locking anyone up in a small bedroom without access to the outside world, is cruel, heartless and it's a form of mental abuse! I saw the TMZ interview and I'm heartbroken for such a social celebrity to be treated as a criminal. Free Wendy Williams. I think the guardian and the judge need their own psychological evaluation.
Wendy has worked so hard to have her life and live with dignity. It's appalling that she has little to no access to any of those people closest to her, including her family.
It doesn't seem right that a bank employee could put Wendy into a conservatorship, and why is Wendy & her family being kept in the dark?! There should be guardrails in place to prevent fraud on Wendy's account, but she should not lose her freedom bc of this!
I’m a 71 year old woman who really feels for Wendy. Why is she being isolated from her family, especially her son. It’s her money and she worked hard for it. Something is shady about this whole situation. I don’t trust the guardian. Give Wendy back her money. She not at that point yet. Where she needs a guardian. She also has family. What’s with the isolation? Very troubling!!!
I’m signing this petition in support after watching the TMZ documentary “Saving Wendy”. I’m heartbroken, baffled, and Absolutely appalled at what is happening to this fully functioning adult woman who is somehow still maintaining a positive and hopeful outlook on the situation when most people would be hopeless.
In the doc it was very enlightening to hear experts like the founder of Connect Care Advisory Group, who’s dealt with these circumstances for over 30 years, say how she can give an explaination for every case she’s ever seen but she can’t give one for Wendy’s because “it simply doesn’t make sense”.
Dr. Leah Croll, a NY Neurologist, also weighed in regarding Wendy’s health diagnosis (or mis-diagnosis), explaining that it’s absolutely possible that she was mistakenly diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia when in fact it could be Alcohol Related Dementia. She stated “Frontotemporal Dementia is an extremely challenging diagnosis to make due to the overlap”, of the two illnesses. It makes sense 110%, as it’s possible to regain function from ARD, like you see and hear in her words and actions now, but with FTD the symptoms are only progressive.
I became a Wendy Williams lover and supporter from the start of her show. I’ve always admired her positive personality and her honesty in sharing her own personal struggles and health diagnoses with the world to be light for others experiencing similar issues. I’ll continue to pray for her and hope this ends very very soon.
This is a Travesty!
Wendy does not deserve the prison she has been put into. These circumstances are cruel & unjust. Listen to her phone call on the Breakfast Club. What she is going through is absolutely heartbreaking. She deserves humanity & dignity. Selling her cats & restricting her seeing her family are particularly cruel & disgusting.
My brothers and I need my mom back. Within 6 months of each other we had both of our parents snatched away. My mom is one of the most caring and thoughtful people you’ll ever meet. We are trying everything we can to be able to hug her and see her live a normal life.
I believe she’s innocent and her kids and family need her the most right now her kids had both parents snatched away from them they really need there mother
