I am in the upstate area speaking for all Carolinians. We the black people find it strange that we still see Confederate flags in Spartanburg alongside Highway I-85 I can not remember the exact mile mark but I do know it's right there where the business loop is located after the chesnee/Spartanburg exit.. this is STILL not a celebration for clans or "soldiers" we ALL should know the real meaning to it. That flag has been hanging for 3 years WHY? What is prevailing behind that flag being hung. If Mr. McMaster allow this he is just the same as those clans, he even sound like a clansman. The prisons & jails are OVER crowded. New court house has been builded to lock folks up instead of better housing for low income people EVERYWHERE! Disabled people food stamps are being cut which is very wrong because $2,000 monthly is still not enough to eat healthy. My mother receive less than $2,000 monthly and her food stamps are still cut. Let's not even talk about how dirty McMaster allowed FEMA to do the Carolinians. He is a theft and all of his posse is a theft. We need Propersitions 65 like Californians get as well. I SHOULD NOT have to pull out my phone every time I shop to know that BS that goes in that food. I'm sick and tired of Carolina. My zip code SHOULD NOT be how long I live because of the die slow food. & That STINKING SLAUGHTERHOUSE that is ALWAYS running 24 hours 7 days a week. That 2 mile radius smell. McMaster doesn't need another chance in office.

I personally knew the families of the deceased and the murderer. This violent act has lasting effects throughout generations of people. Please help stop the violence by supporting this bill.

Treating any animal in an unkind manner is absolutely unnecessary. But to go to the extreme that this defenseless animal had to endure is absolutely sickening. Rabbits don’t have a voice, so we must be their voice. Until no other rabbit or animal is treated the same.

I have 2 rabbits right now that I rescued. The first Willow I found under a bush a few houses down our street. It was a few months after Easter . She was skinny, full of fleas and ticks everywhere. My vet removed the ticks and treated her for fleas put her on antibiotic. She survived she is now almost 9 yrs old my sweetheart. She is a black and white Dutch rabbit. I also have a Lion head rabbit that my son got from a guy that was going to shoot it. ( this was just a baby ) she is now 6 years old and beautiful. I’ve had both spade and keep up with vet health visits. People get these rabbits cause the are cute cuddly and think it’s a perfect gift for a child not realizing or researching what care goes into taking care of a rabbit. We need to stop selling them in pet stores and flea markets and make laws that protect them from abuse and neglect.

I have rescues Rabbits off the streets that people have just thrown out like trash. This is absolutely horrible! Rabbits are the third most common house pet running neck and neck to cats. If this had been a cat or dog there would be no doubt in my mind it would be all over the news and everyone would be talking about it. Rabbits are more fragile and can not defend themselves.likenancat.or dog can in the outdoors. Breeders need to be stopped as well as pet stores from selling rabbits. Rabbits are no longer a outside cage pet or meat animal. Make the Change Now! Stand up for what it Right!

There is NO excuse for animal cruelty! There are studies showing how animal cruelty correlates to other crimes and cycles of abuse. This was sadistic and cruel and if it doesn’t stop here, then where is the line? With dogfighting rampant and other forms of animal abuse and cruelty, the laws need to be changed with harsher punishments in SC!! What is the deterrent, the laws are a joke without any way to enforce or enact any real consequences. The fact that law enforcement made the persons who found and save this bunny PAY the ABUSER, speaks for itself and mentality and lack of regard for another’s life or the amount of suffering they inflict! It’s absolutely abhorrent and disturbing that some things have never progressed here!
