4 of my children attend this school, if they close my neurodiverse son is at risk of being homeschooled as no other school in the area would be able to support him and my other children would most likely be split up into different schools

I feel for you all during this horrible time, our school in Earls Court is going through exactly the same. They want to close our school yet there aren’t enough spaces to facilitate all the children locally never mind those with EHCPs. Keep strong, keep fighting! 💪

Our children need protecting and the fact that metal detectors haven’t been introduced to schools yet is mind blowing! How many more of our children have to suffer before REAL change? What would you do if it happened at YOUR kids school? The world is a scary place for us adults at the minute never mind these kids and we as protectors should be protecting. You’re not putting in the right deterrent against these knife crimes, the consequences are NOT scaring them to think differently. Parents should be held accountable also they should as a parent make sure their kids haven’t got weapons, these are kids doing the unthinkable because it’s become the norm now it needs to stop and let kids be kids again

Knife crimes in schools needs to be prevented. Scanners could save lives of so many children and teachers. Parents, families should not have to lose loved ones in a place setting that should be safe.

Youngsters struggle to open up to anyone, so often they think they are a burden. Children are told time and time that teachers are their safe trusted adults- people they can turn to! The fact that teachers have no mental health training makes no sense. It’s time to walk the walk as well as talking the talk. Please sign this petition
