I honestly don't even know why she's here. What is her job,to make children hate themselves and hate coming to school? Ms.Dee once sent me to the office for throwing my gum in the incorrect trash can. She said "You can't just do what you want, I'm the adult and you're the child. You listen to me." Ms.Dee reminds me of Miss Trunchbull from Matilda. Especially when the Trunchbull says "I'm right, you're wrong. And there's nothing you can do about it." The Trunchbull also said "I'm big, you're small" and "I'm smart, you're dumb. Ms.Dee is just like Trunchbull because Ms.Dee also said "I'm the adult you are the child, you ARE wrong and I am right." She also yells in children's faces calling them all sorts of names. She once called a student, autistic, mental ill,and an idiot. Ms.Dee sent a students out the classroom for dropping a tissue box, sneezing and shaking her leg because of her anxiety. She would yell at them and lecture them before she sent them out of the auditorium or classroom. Ms. Dee has also yells at students while they are crying, even though she is the one that makes them cry. Ms.Dee gives treats like cookies, brownies, and other sweets from Panera Bread to what she calls the "Good students," and says, "If you be a good student you can get a cookie." She speaks to us like dogs. That's like saying 'If you are a good boy/girl you can get a treat.' A student has told me that they feel afraid or scared to step foot into the auditorium. Because of how she acts and reacts.

So Mrs D. Has been extremely mean to me since 5th grade. So I am In special Ed, and I have turrets syndrome and ADHD. Sometime, I make loud noises that I can not control and stop. A lot of the times, when I'm in the auditorium, I make the noises uncontrollably, then she yells at me to stop. And a bunch of people are annoyed by me. It makes feel sad and misunderstood. One time, when I sat at the back of the auditorium so I didn't annoy anybody with my tics,, she yelled at me to sit in the front with the other kids. Then I Explained my ADHD and other challenges. And halfway into the explanation, she interrupted me, and yelled at me. Then another time, she said that whoever was making those noises, they wood be going to the principal. Third, I was Whispering with my best friend, and she told us that we were no allowed to socialize. PLS HELP SHES SO MEAN!!!

Ms. Dee is one of the most hypocritical teachers i have ever had the displeasure of knowing. Whether we are working in the auditorium or in the classroom, Ms. Dee silences all, even if we are supposed to be working with a partner. She severely impacts students ability to learn through her talking. In the auditorium, she talks on her phone or to her friend, through a silent auditorium, providing a mild disturbance. But sometimes in the auditorium, and always in a classroom, she has completely nullified my ability to learn. She comes up to the front of the class, and talks. She yells about random nonsensical things that make no sense in context to the class. She always does this when assigned to an actual classroom. I cannot concentrate when she is talking like that. One time, she was yelling like this during a math test I was taking, and I got a very low grade on it partially because of her. Also, she has no expertise in any teaching related activities, and even though that is fine, she flaunts around like she is better than our actual teachers. She has given us wrongful information in grammar and math concepts, which is detrimental to our education. She also has favorites which she showers with treats and affection. She lets them talk, get treats, and other benefits while she hates and never gives anything to anyone else. Overall, Ms. Dee is the biggest hypocrite I have ever seen, and one of the most inefficient, and maybe negatively affecting educators ever. She takes favorites, and doesn't care about anyone else besides them, with an unprofessional air. Not only this, but she has threatened the lives of students. I have heard that she has eaten food in classrooms that some students in the room are allergic, in a nut free classroom. She fits all the descriptions for a bad teacher, hear is the literal definition that follows. "A bad teacher, also referred to as ineffective or toxic, is someone who consistently fails to create a positive and productive learning environment for their students. This can manifest in various ways, including lacking enthusiasm for the subject matter, being unprepared for class, demonstrating poor communication skills, and being dismissive or disrespectful towards students." Therefore, Ms. Dee is the direct definitive example of a bad teacher. I do not know how she got into this great district with great teachers, but to restore this utopia, something has to be done to stop her tyranny.

I don't believe I myself have had a really bad personal experience with Ms.Dee, but everytime I end up in the auditorium, I live in fear that I will get in trouble for making even the slightest sound. I can't even ask a friend right next to me for help without Ms.Dee getting mad at me or them for talking, even though I was just confused about the assignment and wanted to check in. This ended in my friend getting yelled at by her, and I want to avoid future problems like this where you get yelled at for simply asking questions.

I have seen Ms.Dee continuously bully, and send kids to the office for no reason, or for simple stuff like, coughing, or asking questions. Also Ms. Dee gives unreasonable lectures for things the class didn't do, and these lectures take at least 15, so we can't get our work done, and we have to do it for homework.

Mrs. Dee tries to be your typical strict teacher, but in reality, she is overly aggressive, confused, and kind of hypocritical. I had a cold one time, still came to school, and Mrs. Dee yelled at me for wearing a coat when I was sick! She made me put it in my locker even though I told her I was sick! There have been many times when I have been in a class where Mrs. Dee was subbing. Kids were asking for help on work, or even small things like borrowing a calculator. Mrs. Dee would just go on a rant for the rest of the class and no one would get ANY work done. Our teacher would be back the next day confused why we got nothing done, and we would just have to say, "Mrs. Dee was yelling at us the entire class!" Can our substitutes please be as highly trained as our teachers? Thank you

Over the past few years, Ms. Dee, an auditorium teacher, has encountered several challenges that have raised concerns among students and parents alike. One notable incident involved her instructing a student in my sister’s class to remove his earbuds, unaware that he was wearing hearing aids, which left him feeling embarrassed and misunderstood. This situation highlighted a lack of awareness regarding the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Additionally, there have been reports of children on the autism spectrum being insulted or ignored during classroom activities, further exacerbating feelings of exclusion. Such incidents not only affect the emotional well-being of these students but also create a negative atmosphere within the learning environment. It is essential for educators like Ms. Dee to receive training on inclusivity and sensitivity to better support all students. By fostering understanding and compassion, we can help ensure that every child feels valued and respected in their educational journey.

Allowing Ms. Dee to continue teaching in this manner sends a dangerous message: that disrespectful behavior is acceptable in positions of authority. Schools should be safe spaces where students feel respected and valued. When a teacher fails to uphold these standards, it is the responsibility of the administration to intervene. If Ms. Dee is unwilling or unable to change her behavior, it would be in the best interest of the students and the school community for her to be replaced by someone who can provide a more positive and respectful learning environment.

Mrs. Dee has been a source of ongoing concern, as her actions seem to contribute to feelings of anxiety, frustration, and distress among students at BCMS. She often appears dismissive and unkind, sometimes ignoring students entirely, while moments of inconsistency become apparent—she criticizes students for behaviors she herself sometimes displays. Additionally, there have been instances that have significantly impacted our students’ well-being. Some students have bravely shared their experiences: one was sent to the office for simply throwing gum in the wrong trash can, while another shared how Ms. Dee sometimes responds with disrespect—yelling at students for raising their hands, coughing, or even just saying hello. There have been moments when she becomes so upset that she needs to leave the room in frustration. One student recounted a difficult incident—Ms. Dee ate peanut butter in a nut-free classroom despite being explicitly told not to, questioning if anyone was allergic, and then continued to eat it while telling the class to mind their own business. These actions are concerning and raise important questions about students’ rights and safety. They can negatively affect our students’ learning, mental health, and sense of security. It’s important that these issues are addressed promptly—every student deserves an environment built on respect, understanding, and support.

Ms. Dee has repeatedly mansplained things to kids like they're two years old. We aren't two years old, we're middle schoolers. She also has called kids autistic, mentally ill, and mentally disabled TO THEIR FACES. I know another comment mentioned this, but I want to repeat it. She is EXTREMELY hypocritical. She will yell at kids for whispering their friend a question, and then go on to talk and prevent the students from doing their work throughout that entire class. She says she won't answer questions, but when you go to a students for help, you get yelled at and sent to the office. You can't chew gum around her, and yet she chews it with her mouth wide open, extremely loudly. She once yelled at me when she was subbing a health class because I had to leave early due to an injury. She uses her position for one giant, hypocritical power trip and it isn't okay. Ms. Dee abuses her position, and behaves extremely inappropriately towards the students. I don't think she should work at BCMS any longer, or she should at least get a huge talking to from the principal.
