I have had Long Covid for almost 3 yrs now and am tired of being ignored or just told well, there is nothing we can do for you. As a result of Long Covid I now have low blood sodium and am on total liquid restriction of 1.25 liters/day. I am now on my 4th PCP and they all seem to think that this is totally acceptable. My most recent PCP stated that he has lots of female patients with low blood sodium and some have gone as low as 116 and didn't die.

LEAVE MO WHERE SHE BELONGS PLEASE
We are behind Mo. The Community Cat that sits in the Co-Op at Newtongrange. Why? Because we have been chosen by Button, the Community Cat, that sits/attends classes/lounges/purrs her way through a day at our gaff at the Beacon. Button picked us (the day she realised she could open the doors). Mo picked the Co-Op. We felt AWFUL Button was not going home. But we spoke to her owners - they are happy that she is happy snoozing in a chair each day. Button decided that she would like to be clapped and petted by the a) the children attending the nursery b) to be a 'safe space' for so many children with neurodiversity where the cafe is too much c) to be the 'therapy' for many who don't have pets but long that connection. It's not just about a cat being in a space, it's about a cat being for what people need. Yeah, we do feel strongly about this. We are grateful her owners see what she does on a daily basis. She isn't OURS, she is the Beacon Community Cat. That is special. We would love the Co-Op 'head honchos' to realise that. Does anyone 'hate' Button? No, we have three people who aren't keen on cats, and we hope that they are happy with the way we keep Button away from them. Co-Op. Pet Therapy isn't is a fad Some of your customers LONG for the connection with a pet/animal. Yes, it takes work. But, it's so simple. You have a COMMUNITY champion. Does anyone see that? Get a grip. See it! We love our community cat, if you allowed the cat to do the work, urgh, we can't believe you can't see this?!
I work in a community hub, just up the road from Newtongrange. We have a Community Cat called Button. We (staff, volunteers, users, cafe users) adore her. SHE picked us. Button. We know that she is a 'undiagnosed therapy cat'. So, we are behind Mo. The Community Cat that sits in the Co-Op at Newtongrange. Why? Some of your customers LONG for the connection with a pet. Get a grip! See this LOVE. You are so missing something here. We hope you eventually see it. Dawn, not the Beacon in Gorebridge, this is personal!
What harm is it doing to let Mo hang out behind the counter or in the shop?! I guarantee he brings more joy than anything. Please let him come & go, he’s become family.
Our pet dog Rory aged 13 was misdiagnosed by vets 4 lets which caused sudden death we are trying to receive justice for him and they are not accepting liability and not participating in mediation. They are trying to brush it under the carpet and we won’t allow that we want justice and stick by Fury Khan all the way.
I myself am awaiting a restraining order as I have been a victim of sexual violence so therefore it terrifies me that after a few years he could be free to be near me. This petition is so important!
