I volunteer at my local park, and we’ve lost half our rangers already. We cancelled our educational program this summer, and we’ve indefinitely stopped granting research permits because there aren’t enough staff. Nobody is entirely sure what no
The national parks across the country need the support of every person who has gained valuable memories from these incredible places. If we cannot stand up to capitolism and corporate greed we will lose the last true beauty this country has to be proud of. These lands cannot be fixed once they are destroyed by greed and economic prosperity. We are here to protect, not depleat and drain every resource this land can give to us. Please defend the people who dedicate their lives to keeping these places safe hospitible and clean. Without them we will lose no matter what the government say we will "win" in this process.
Our national parks are irreplaceable treasures, vital not only for their beauty but also as essential ecosystems that support diverse wildlife and plant species. They contribute to local economies through tourism and provide peace and inspiration to millions. However, these landscapes are increasingly at risk—not only from climate change and pollution but also from unchecked government-driven development that threatens to strip these resources and destroy nature itself.
The protection of our parks and ecosystems is fundamental. We learn in school that maintaining these habitats is not just common sense; it’s essential to the well-being of all who depend on them. If we destroy nature, we are ultimately destroying ourselves. The loss of these irreplaceable resources would erode our national pride and deprive future generations of the chance to benefit from them.
I urge you to take action now—advocate for stronger protections, sustainable resource management, and climate change mitigation efforts. We must stop the government from further harming nature. This is not only about preserving beauty; it’s about preserving the delicate balance of life on Earth—the only Earth we have, and the one we must protect.
I’ve always been a loaner. An outsider. I’ve never wanted kids or anything like that. My entire life goal is visiting all the parks and forests. I’ve designed my life around it. From my job to my vehicle to the things I own. My love for nature has stopped me from committing suicide in the past and given me a reason to keep fighting through what feels like constant setbacks and misfortune. Harming our national parks or national forests takes all of that away. I would rather die myself than see something so beautiful ruined for monetary gain. Please for the love of god stop this. Take politics out. I don’t care. I’ve never known anybody on either side of the fence that would allow this. I’m begging you. Without that land, I’ve lost my entire sense of purpose.
I have visited numerous National Parks and consider them our nation's crown jewels. They must be honored and protected; they cannot be replaced, nor should they be developed for private gain. They belong to ALL of us and need proper care. FUND THE PARK SERVICE! This is NOT where the government waste is to be found.
I've had a similar situation like this occur to me under different circumstances and in my case, my school AND town police failed to help and protect me. This pattern of state negligence needs to STOP. She deserves justice and safety.
This case needs to be reopened immediately. This girl is in danger and in the company of a predator. She is little and can’t articulate exactly why it’s happening but when asked it’s obvious she’s experienced sexual abuse as she can explain it in detail! This needs more investigation and she needs to be placed somewhere safe in the meantime and needs counseling. Praying for her mother. Nobody should have to fight this hard for their child!
