My biological father also SAd me as a kid, I never talked about it until after his suicide. He was going to jail for SA against my older sister, our step mom found out and turned him in. We’ll never get justice and I never want a girl to feel powerless like I did. So I’m here, and I care.

I told them the same thing over and over again. They said that it could be possible for me (a four year old) to be lying or overreacting. At the end of the day he walked away free. I’m now almost a full on adult and still remember all of it. He had daughters who would yell and beg for him to stop but when my mom would ask abt what was going on he would say they were playing around. it didn’t make sense until I got older. I remember seeing him in my room and I still get nightmares of him hiding in my closet till this day. I still can’t watch movies that have SA topics without having a full meltdown. I can’t even hug my little brothers and I can’t even let my brothers get near me too much. It sucks seeing my brothers wanting to show me love and they can’t because I still get scared. No one should ever have to go through anything like that

That is a tradition I want to share with my children. However, I fear that Disney is creating a space where agendas are being pushed and perceived by young minds. People are seeing Lilly Tino go viral for these inappropriate subjects at Disney, and they’re going to follow shortly behind. It’s only going to get worse and Disney is not going to be kid friendly

It is my absolute dream to bring my kids there to share the magical experience I had as a kid, but I do not feel safe knowing my young children could be exposed to such vulgar speech and be photographed IN THE BATHROOM. Disney is about magic and play pretend, not explaining human anatomy and surgeries. Absolutely not acceptable for young ears, and not acceptable for a children’s park.
