I may have survived my domestic violence, but my son didn't. I refuse to refer to these people as "men", they hardly deserve to be called people, but they WILL continue to do it again and again until they're locked up with no chance of being let go. If you let this guy out, there's going to be another and the blood will be on the hands of the ones who allowed it.

They don't change and they will continue to hurt people. Do not let this man out, 2nd degree murder is insane, he needs to be locked up for life on murder 1 and the key needs to be destroyed. She was murdered by the person who claimed to love her, her boyfriend. Her life was stolen in an act of violence that has left her family, friends, and community devastated.
He should stay in prison because he made a choice, a choice to harm, to control, and ultimately, to kill. Actions have consequences. Someone capable of such brutality should not have the chance to hurt anyone else. Justice isn't just about punishment, it's about protecting others, and honoring the beautiful life that was taken far too soon.
