This is farm community. It's rural community. This isn't the place for a data center. Yes there are areas nearby that are suburban, even metro areas which are far better suited for a data center. But this is not the area. If the data center is permitted, then it's only a matter of time before that expands or someone wants to piggy back next to it and then eventually there is no more rural area. Farmers are forced to give up their livelihoods. We the citizens also feel that it will create a strain on the power and water grids as well as deeply affect property taxes. No longer do we have quiet country homes but we have homes that are directly across the road from a data center. And if given the opportunity will eventually encircle the housing edition. People choose to live in the country for a reason. And this is not the reason. With the addition of a data center, how many residents will feel the need to relocate. No one that I know that lives here wants to see this. Please reconsider this matter and say NO to this data center.

If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.

Regarding no touch torture and remote neural monitoring. robert . 1 second ago The US Intelligence Agencies, US military, US law enforcement, local and State law enforcement, the medical community including doctors, dentists, nurses , hygienests, etc all participate in these crimes and lie and deny to keep it covered up so they can continue to find new victims while sticking tax dollars in their pockets at your expense.

I have been a targeted individual for 8 years. I am constantly being bombarded with demoralizing messages via microwave hearing technology. The psychological warfare method that is employed via v2k is the same method used by the Nazi in WW2 to demoralize allied troops by playing demoralizing messages over a loudspeaker. I would support this petition, but unfortunately my union career with the IUPAT is all but destroyed, as is the rest of my life. I dont have much longer left. Ive been through all the phases of this method of psychological warfare, all that is left is my extermination. Please, for the sake of all our children, and American freedom in general, stay strong and fight the good fight.

I have a loud high pitched noise constantly ringing in my ears 24/7 in order to keep me awake around the clock. I haven’t slept in almost 10 years since it started. Whenever i start drifting to sleep there is a sensor that activates and the noise ringing in my ears becomes louder and more intense in order to wake me back up and prevent me from falling asleep. They also make sudden sounds to startle me when im laying down and least expect it. I was involuntarily hospitalized when i tried to report to the emergency room because they dont believe me and think im crazy. Now i have to take injections of antipsychotics every month and they dismiss my claims as delusional or mental illnesses.. I am not being burned by lasers but this technology still makes me as miserable as i am. Going on 10 years, no recognition from the government or authorities, they think its impossible and do not recognize this kind of torture technology really exists..

It’s not like we can choose to go to other companies so we are just being screwed over and no ability to change. Should not cost this much to have something we all need. My bill was well over 500 this month and I’ve used the same amount of everything each month and it was 150 when I moved in so the jump in cost is NOT justifiable. Alabama power are a bunch of crooks stealing from the lower class. They need to be abolished and a new power company put in place. They make it hard for people that are working all day everyday to keep their homes heated, food on the table etc.

While it’s understandable that we may be using more power to stay warm the jump in price is not justifiable to the usage. The week after Thanksgiving of 2024 our unit went out. Today is January 18, 2025. Since the unit went out, we have been huddled in our living area using only two small space heaters. They are very energy efficient and don’t use much power at all. Our $200 bill went up to $1100. I kept a check on the usage chart available on Alabama Power‘s website Every week up until the billing cycle. Our usage had gone down more than 147% compared to the last two months. This new bill does not make since. With a bill this high, there is no way that my family will be able to afford to keep our service turned on. I am only one of many. I’m not sure how Alabama Power company can keep doing this to families every year.

My own bill jumped from $150 to $1,080 in just one month, which is completely unmanageable not to mention unrealistic. We nearly froze in here when the temperature went below freezing. This drastic increase is causing significant financial strain on my family because we get paid monthly and this bill is more than we make in a month. Many families in our community especially us are now stressing because we simply can not pay it all and so the next thing to come is that our power will be disconnected. It will take us 3 months at the most to even get it back on and here we are with a child. We urgently need a thorough investigation into the cause of these outrageous charges and immediate corrective action to ensure fair and accurate billing. They can say their usual bs about that people had to turn up their heat but we didn't change anything and our central heat and air unit stayed at the same exact temperature and we just dressed in jackets, sweaters, and 2 pairs of pants and socks to sleep in and keep warm throughout the day. Plus it may have been below freezing but it dang sure wasn't below freezing for an entire month. They need to stop treating us like we are stupid and like we don't notice what they are doing. I don't see how they can even sleep well at night.

But what about the single parents, one income families, and especially the elderly or disabled that are on fixed incomes! How does Alabama power expect people to pay power bills that are more than the average rent in the area? My power bill has never even reached $400 and suddenly in one month it’s gone up to over $800 and as of right now looking at my account from 12/27-1/7 it shows that it is already above $300 for just 10 DAYS! The estimated bill for the end of the month is $1000! That’s more than I pay monthly for rent! And what makes matters worse is your only given what 10 days to come up with payment and they’re threatening to cut the power off? This is absurd!

We turned off our hvac and spent the summer sweating only using window units in rooms we were in. Winter now and the hvac is still off, just using space heaters in occupied rooms. Have closed off most of the house and run to the kitchen for food into the cold. Alabama power needs to be shut down. Bring the TVA further south or start regulating with the Alabama Public Service Commission.
