I worked solidly for 40 years and am entitled to a full state pension. It is highly unlikely that I will reach 67 to claim my state pension. It is so unfair that my wife will not be able to claim my pension. It is my money, not the government's. Furthermore, if you are entitled to a full state pension, you should be able to claim it early if you have a life limiting disease like I have got. I do hope that this petition is taken seriously by our
MPs.

However, a pension is the part they set aside for themselves, which means it should be allowed to be passed on to other family members or people they trust—those close to them who support them. Taken very little out, no children to be educated, no signifucant health issues needing NHS stays, no periods of unemployment. Then 2 years after reaching pension age, bereaved ... no transfer of pension no pension pot to inherit, nothing apart from statutory 12 months bereavement benefit, if you know to claim it.
System is very unfair for all those payments in to disappear into the government 'pot'.
