Epi-pens can save lives!!
It saved my son’s life from having desserts that contained diff types of nuts. If Epi-pen was not available at the time of his severe allergic reactions oh my…I can’t even imagine.
Now that he is 17 & busy at school away from my supervision and not having Epi-pen with him always in public buildings, it could be fatal.
Therefore, I support 100% for availability of Epinephrine in all public places for survival rate is higher incase one doesn’t have the Epi-pen. Thank you very much for this opportunity to add my voice.
Severe allergic reactions can happen anywhere, anytime, and they can be deadly within minutes. No one should lose their life simply because an EpiPen wasn’t available in a public place. Schools, libraries, government buildings, and other public spaces should have EpiPens on hand—just like they have fire extinguishers and defibrillators. This is a simple, life-saving measure that could mean the difference between life and death. Please make it mandatory to have EpiPens in all public buildings!
I've known someone who almost died from a fatal anaphylactic reaction. They were eating some peanuts and discovered the hard way that they were allergic. There was no EpiPen ANYWHERE near them, so one kind bystander had to go fetch one from her car. They almost died. EpiPens should be available EVERYWHERE, so that no one will have to go through this trauma again.
I have many friends who have allergies that require an EpiPen should they have a reaction and I feel like easier access to EpiPens would be awesome and leave them comfortable
A ton of my friends have had their lives SAVED by a epi pen one of them almost didn't make it. Thankfully the building we were in had one on hand but I know that she got lucky. I will share this with all my friends with allergys and others without.
My daughter's best friend has bad food allergies, and I would love to know that in the case she forget to carry her EpiPen with her, one would be available if she has a reaction while in a public place.
I have severe allergies, including coconut, peanuts, and garlic and now that coconut is no longer listed as an allergy I’m ever my worried about having a reaction while out and not having one of my pens with me or having it happen to someone else and them not getting help.
