Over development of land is a critical issue affecting communities worldwide. As urbanization increases, natural habitats are being destroyed, leading to environmental degradation and loss of biodiversity. Petitions on this topic advocate for responsible land use planning, preservation of green spaces, and protection of wildlife habitats.
One petition with thousands of signatures protests against the construction of a commercial complex on a rare forested area, highlighting the importance of conserving the ecosystem. Another petition calls for stricter regulations on developers to prevent overbuilding and preserve the character of neighborhoods.
By supporting these petitions, individuals can raise awareness about the impact of over development on the environment and push for sustainable urban planning policies. Join the movement to safeguard our natural resources and create a more balanced approach to land development. Your involvement can make a difference in protecting our planet for future generations.

The reason we moved into the Village of Fairchild was to be in a community in the country with land around us and a peaceful environment. We’ve grown close to many of our neighbors that would be immediately impacted by this. Please support our request to move to the less impactful solution. It seems like a no brainer!
Long time family land of farms and ranches are going to be ruined by this toll road. Please put it in the least likely place that will not distort families, homes and livelihood of generations of families. The subdivisions are bad enough.
I live off Westland Drive and between the hours of 330pm-6pm Westland Drive is pure gridlock from Ebenezer Rd to S. Northshore Dr. Once school is out at A. L. Lotts Elementary School until way after the rush hour traffic, its bumper to bumper cars trying to get westward on Westland Drive. Adding more cars to this area is going to make this disaster a true nightmare. Not to mention west of Pellissippi Pkwy towards Northshore, the road is narrower, n and already inhibiting the inhabitants who try to get out of their driveways safely with said bumper to bumper cars. This area can not safely deal with 600 more cars to the area.
My husband and I live off of Westland Drive and we have worked so hard to increase the value of our home! Not only would this completely overcrowd Westland (an already overcrowded road) but decrease the value of the properties around. We cannot let this happen!
My partner and I just bought our first home in this area with location and school zone in mind. I would hate for the place we worked so hard to afford dropped in value
