Victories in Nevada

I grew up in Incline Village. I have wonderful memories at the Lone Eagle. My husband proposed to me in Incline, and then we went to Lone Eagle for dinner. Lone Eagle is a place the locals love to go. And still a high end restaurant for the visitors. Getting rid of it would be devastating.

I pray whoever sent that baby home gets held accountable after hearing the video of his breathing 🙏🏽 this could have been avoided no mom should have to hurt Bury their child for a doctor’s negligence!

I nearly lost my daughter at 12 years old to Ecoli because I was told my daughter is fine and can wait to see a doctor tomorrow. My daughter ended up getting transported to a specialized hospital because of the advice of a doctor who said it can wait. She ended up getting 2 blood transfusions, became jaundiced, could barely walk and her kidneys affected. Thankfully by God's grace my daughter is alive and well today but I will never be able to fully trust Doctors advice again. More change needs to be done for the future of our babies. Doctors need to be held accountable!

I'm a parent, I know us parents know when something is severly wrong with our children! We are all humans and should be taken care as such. Our voice matters, just because we don't have the degree doesn't mean we don't know when our babies are extremely sick! #Justice for Preston Jovi

There has to be something that can be done to protect our children and future children and I pray your baby gets justice in his name. If we feel something isn’t right, if there is a 2nd…3rd hospital visit with no improvement, it should automatically be escalated to a higher doctor in order to sign off on a discharge (& the person signing off should see the patient, not only sign the paperwork) This can be a preventive measure to prevent mid-diagnoses, or even death. They wrote you off as a paranoid parent and sent you home instead of noticing your baby in distress. Something needs changing…Anything for doctors to be more responsible and take time on our babies before picking a random diagnosis that meets their minimum match of symptoms. There’s more steps, and more people signing off before you can close on a home than there is when dealing with human life.

I lost my child as well due to negligence, I took my son to the Er twice for bloody stools and they said it was normal /okay . 1 week later baby passed . Losing a child is losing your life and we are alive and making it every day because of our little ones. Negligence has to stop!

I am writing as someone who cares deeply about the students and community at Damonte Ranch High School. The proposed rezoning that would move students from Damonte to Wooster High School concerns me deeply. Damonte Ranch has created a nurturing and supportive environment where students are able to thrive, both academically and personally. The connections students have made with their peers, teachers, and the opportunities available to them would be disrupted by such a change. Moving them to a new school would take away the stability and support that many students rely on to succeed. I understand the complexity of decision-making and the many factors at play, but I ask that you consider the long-term impact this will have on these students, their education, and their futures. I believe it is important to preserve the community they have found at Damonte and the opportunities it offers for their growth and success. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I went to school in Washoe County since 6th grade. Damonte Ranch Highschool has made the largest impact in my own development to the adult I am today and I would hate to see these opportunities be taken away from other teens in critical periods of their development.

I think it isn’t smart to rezone people when they’ve already started in one high school. Also think about the sophomores juniors and seniors that are in their most important years of high school and have to be able to focus on their education instead of moving high schools and worrying about all this other stuff.
