I’m so sad I never got to experience this, my number child love’s the muppets & it’s something my Fiancée and I bonded over. I hope they don’t destroy it.
Leave Muppet Vision 3D alone, there are other options for a Monsters Inc experience, instead convert the rollercoaster to be Monsters Inc, have the track fly through various doors, even going through a snowy landscape before going through the warehouse like in the final scene of the original movie. There’s a lot Disney could do, and tearing down the final work of Jim Henson should never be one of them. As an artist, the Muppets have helped keep hope alive in my heart. The legacy of inspiration across generations, the artistry through puppetry, music, and comedy needs to be preserved. I’ll be honest, this is far from my first strike against Disney, and the only reason I would ever consider stepping foot in that park is to see Jim Henson’s final project, Kermit and the gang.
I grew up LOVING the muppets, and want it to also be a part of my kids lives too! I watch their movies every year, and was planning s trip to see the muppet 3-D attraction next year!
Jim Henson's final project should mean something. His works got us through times and brought smiles to faces. I'll never get to visit Muppet 3d Vision...
I’ve been a fan of the Muppets my whole life, and they are the reason why I’m a Disney fan in the first place. I even went to the same college as Jim Henson. This was Jim Henson’s last performance before he passed, so closing it doesn’t feel right. Taking away his legacy is like removing a part of Walt’s legacy. Just put Monsters in the Animation Courtyard area.
Preserving "MuppetVision 3D" is important because it represents a significant piece of Jim Henson's legacy, serving as his final project before his death, and embodies his innovative spirit by combining 3D technology with classic Muppet humor, creating a unique and immersive experience that many fans consider a tribute to his life work; it's not just a theme park attraction, but a cherished part of Muppet culture
you would be destroying this man legacy if you take this away
Muppets Vision was something I saw at Hollywood studios and it immediately excited me. I was taken back to simpler times as a kid watching the Muppets on VHS. It was charming and amazing to feel like I was in a Muppets production. To find out I will never have the chance to see it again saddens me greatly. That was Jim Henson's last project and I would like it to stay for years to come. It's history that shouldn't be erased. I want to see all the hidden messages and things I didn't get to see the first time walking through.
This means something to hundreds of thousands of people, it makes memories and was crafted in memory of a man who’s gifted media to generations exceeding his lifetime, it shouldn’t have to end now.
I grew up with the muppets, my mom loved them too. They are so personally important to me and have helped me grow in ways I don’t even consider. I would hate to see them go.
